World-renowned chef Björn Frantzén, known for his eponymous three Michelin-starred restaurant in Stockholm, will open his new restaurant in London’s luxury shopping center Harrods in 2022. Frantzén’s Stockholm restaurant ranked sixth in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list this year, and his new project caused great excitement in the UK.

In his eponymous restaurant Frantzén, Björn brings inspiration from the cuisines of Japan, France, and Italy to the menu, but it is not yet known what flavors he will offer in his new restaurant. Frantzén’s arrival in the region, where star names such as Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Vineer Bhatia, and Gordon Ramsay are also present with different concepts, is also very exciting for him. “Over the past few years there have been several projects and opportunities arise in London, but none have felt right until now. It is an honor to be opening at Harrods as one of the most celebrated institutions in the world,” said Björn Frantzén, and is now preparing to conquer London after Sweden.
