The classic name of French cuisine and gastronomy, Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse’s vegan burgers are now in a buffet in Paris. Ducasse, which opened its stand in a burger buffet called Burgal in Paris as of April 8, is using completely vegan products in his burgers.
Claiming that eating is a form of activism with his book titled “Manger est un acte citoyen” published in 2017, Ducasse has been implementing an environmentally sensitive cooking approach for a while. The superstar chef decided to remove meat from the menu of the Plaza Athénée hotel in Paris in 2014, and this decision was the first step in the birth of a concept called “Naturalité”.
The chef’s burgers, which consist entirely of vegan products, can only be served with vegetables or chickpea chips instead of french fries.
