Tsuta in Tokyo has the honor of being the first ramen restaurant to receive a Michelin star. Nakiryu followed Tsuta with Michelin stars in 2017 and Konjiki Hototogisu in 2019. Finally, Ginza Hachigo, one of Tokyo’s favorite ramen restaurants, has also been awarded a star. All three restaurants with one star in the 2022 Michelin Guide became famous for their different interpretations of classic Japanese dishes.
Ginza Hachigo
Ginza Hachigo, the newest member of the Michelin-starred ramen restaurants, is run by a chef with a French culinary background. The restaurant is appreciated for its modern interpretation of the classic ramen flavor.
Konjiki Hototogisu
The restaurant, which gives an Italian touch to noodles and ramen flavors, is known as one of the best in Tokyo.
Nakiryu
Nakiryu offers standard shio and shoyu ramen, but stands out with its unique interpretation. At the restaurant, you can pair your noodles with a small selection of side dishes such as shrimp wonton, charsiu pork, and boiled gyoza.
