Michael Mina’s Michelin-starred flagship in San Francisco undergoes a major transformation to become a Greek restaurant. The famed restaurateur has permanently closed his eponymous Middle Eastern fine dining restaurant. In its place, he’s opening Estiatorio Ornos a Michael Mina Restaurant, an upscale Greek restaurant emphasizing seafood.
At Estiatorio Ornos a Michael Mina Restaurant, scheduled to open in September, a seafood specialist, whom Mina calls “fish sommelier”, will go from table to table and describe the day’s catches and the ideal preparations.
