The Glenturret, one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, has announced the opening date for its fine dining restaurant ‘Lalique’. Glenturret Lalique Restaurant, which will open on July 28, stands out as the first fine dining restaurant within a distillery in Scotland.
Located alongside the Turret River, the restaurant promises its guests an idyllic landscape and luxurious gastronomic experiences. The name behind the special menus of The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant is Mark Donald, former chef of Michelin-starred Number One.
Glass accessories and barley motifs stand out in the design of the 30-cover restaurant. In addition to the tasting menu, afternoon tea is also served in the lounge. All pastries are created by Kayleigh Turner. Turner, who recently won Pastry Chef of the Year at the Scottish Food and Beverage Awards, has also worked with Mark Donald at Number One.
The Glenturret Lalique Restaurant, which has an extensive wine list curated by Julien Beltzung, offers more than 250 whiskey options to the guests.
