Owner and head chef Dom Robinson has announced that The Blackbird, the Michelin-starred pub in Bagnor, UK is closing and will not reopen. He said that a new fine dining restaurant called Renaissant will open in place of The Blackbird.

Describing it as a ‘fresh start’, chef Robinson said, “It felt like the right time for a change and the right thing to do.” The new restaurant, Renaissant, will open on September 22 and will offer the same classic French cuisine that the chef is famous for.
