Italian car company Ferrari has announced that it will open the Cavallino, revived by world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura and designer India Mahdavi. Completely renewed with Bottura’s menu, Cavallino highlights the legendary past of the world’s most famous automobile brand, while at the same time opening its doors to its guests with a more modern look and atmosphere.
“We remind you that we are in Modena, but by using technology we add a super lightness to a very heavy kitchen. We improve the flavor by using technique instead of oil,” said Bottura. The opening menu pays subtle homage to the Ferrari family and the brand’s history while preparing a meal inspired by the maccheroncini with pink sauce.
