Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez opens the first fine dining restaurant outside Peru, after Peruvian restaurants Central and MIL. Martinez is offering his respect for nature with his restaurant named Maz, which will open this summer in Tokyo.

The new restaurant reveals that it will allow diners in Japan and around the world to “connect” with indigenous Peruvian peasants and farmers whose lives are essentially “deeply connected with nature.”
