Waku Ghin, considered one of Singapore’s gourmet venues, has now reopened in Marina Bay Sands, after closing in 2019 for renovations. The restaurant has also been renovated and has an expanded bar area.
Paying tribute to renowned chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s Japanese roots, the space is designed by award-winning Japanese designer Yohei Akao, and features a minimalist design that integrates natural materials and intricate details that pay ode to nature and heritage, according to Cna Luxury’s news. The Omakase menu has been expanded to include a variety of fresh grilled products.
The food journey will begin at the bar where guests can enjoy Japanese cocktails prepared by head bartender Kazuhiro Chii. The bar area has been expanded to include 24 seats. An à la carte menu of pasta, donburi, and delicious bar snacks was also introduced.
