Food Network’s celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, uses vegan meat and dairy-free cheese instead of animal foods in classic Italian recipes. Laurentiis, who recently participated in The Ellen DeGeneres program to promote her book ‘Eat Better, Feel Better’, shared her recipe for bolognese using vegan Beyond Beef instead of meat.
“I had never worked with Beyond Meat before, for this book, I tried a few recipes and I found that the bolognese was really good. I was really floored by it,” Laurentiis said.
