Michelin Guide announced the new Michelin stars for Switzerland. Michelin sees the list “a refreshing selection illustrating the strength of the Swiss fine dining scene despite the ongoing crisis”.

The guide announced its selection and there are 24 two-star restaurant included. While 19 restaurants were awarded the Michelin green star, four restaurants joined the two-star tier for the first time. They include Mediterranean-inspired Cà d’Oro in St. Moritz; vegetable-forward Magdalena in Schwyz; Restaurant Sens, located in the Hotel Vitznauerhof in Vitznau; and Zurich’s Widder Restaurant.

“In these tough times, it is also encouraging and exhilarating to see new talents emerge who are brimming with energy and ingenuity, in terms of both culinary identity and their commitment to making the dining ecosystem a virtuous one,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guides.
