The pandemic brought the end of the historic Japanese restaurant called Kawajin. The restaurant, which became a cultural symbol after appearing in various novels and movies has announced the closure to happen at the end of the month.
Coronavirus outbreak hit the historic restaurant of 231 years in Japanese capital Tokyo. Kawajin is announced to be closed after this month. The restaurant was founded in 1790. It became a popular spot amongst tourists and locals, especially for weddings and memorial services with its freshwater menu. However, the extreme pandemic conditions brought an end to the symbolic restaurant.
