Known for her innovative approach to Mexican cuisine, Chef Daniela Soto-Innes announced that she’s leaving her fine-dining restaurant Cosme and Atla in New York.

Daniela Soto-Innes posted on her official Instagram page saying she’s leaving her restaurants she founded with chef Enrique Olvera, Cosme and Atla.

Crowned World’s Best Female Chef by World’s 50 Best in 2019, Soto-Innes said “After careful thought and consideration, I am moving on from my role as Chef/Partner at Cosme and Atla. I am excited for the next phase of my career and to pursue other passions and dreams. It has been an honor to represent my country and I will continue to do so in all future endeavors. My culture and values will always guide me, hopefully inspiring the next generation to reach their dreams.”

Stating that she will leave her position on December 20th, Soto-Innes will continue her work at Elio, Las Vegas restaurant she founded with Enrique Olvera and Santiago Perez.
