The Michelin Guide Rio de Janeiro & Sao Paulo 2020 includes 4 new 2 Michelin starred restaurants and 10 1 Michelin starred restaurants.
In the 2020 Rio de Janeiro & Sao Paulo Michelin Guide released today; there are 4 restaurants with 2 Michelin stars, 10 with 1 Michelin star, 39 Bib Gourmand and 115 Michelin Plate restaurants. Chef Alberto Landgraf’s restaurant Oteque in Rio de Janeiro and chef Edson Yamashita’s restaurant Ryo Gastronomia in Sao Paulo received their 2nd stars in the category and joined Alex Atala and Giovane Carneiro’s restaurant D.O.M and Felipe Bronze’s Oro restaurant. The Michelin Guide Rio de Janeiro & Sao Paulo 2020, with 10 of its new 39 Bib Gourmand and 13 of its new 115 Michelin Plate-listed restaurants, offers food lovers a unique list.
“Each time they explore the streets or Rio de Janeiro & São Paulo, our inspectors discover new creative plates, made with diverse and quality local products and with rich influences from around the world”, explained Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the MICHELIN Guides.
