Taberna del Volapié, run by the Foodbox group, which has plans for expansion in the near future and offers an authentic Andalusian-style dining experience, is opening in Hungary.
The hospitality group Foodbox, which owns many brands, aims to open at least 27 and at most 40 locations this year with big growth plans. The group, which plans to spend 6 million euros within this target, will play a more active role in the cities of Spain. Foodbox will continue to grow overseas, opening stores in two new and exciting markets, in addition to France locations: Morocco and Hungary. According to the company’s managing director, in revistas.eleconomista.es, “Opportunities arise, either with franchisees in other countries or local operators who have a strong interest in our brands… We have brands with great potential for growth, in Spain and internationally. We want to carefully analyze consumption in other markets so as to choose the best brand to respond to consumer preferences.”
The company will launch its brand Taberna del Volapié in Hungary. Taberna del Volapié offers consumers the best flavors from southern Spain. Menu highlights include fried fish, Andalusian-style chicken, salmorejo, a variety of rice dishes, and plenty of seafood, from prawns and mussels to octopus.
