Ron Finley, a Los Angeles-based horticulturalist, known as Gangsta Gardener, is sharing the secrets of gardening with his new masterclass lessons.
Aiming to teach gardening to the world as a method of protest, Ron Finley’s first globalised act of defiance took place in 2010 when he excavated a strip of land between his house and the street and began planting fruits and vegetables, including squash, cabbage and sunflowers. “I wanted a carrot without toxic ingredients I didn’t know how to spell,” said Finley, who has been fighting ever since for sustainable fresh produce and for future generations to eat healthy meals. Finley who informed millions of people on this subject with his Ted speech titled ‘A Guerrilla Gardener in South Central Los Angeles’, is teaching you how to grow your own food, keep your plants alive, and find beauty and freedom in gardening no matter the size of your space by reaching more people with his new masterclass project. With masterclass lessons that teach you how to wisely garden every space from the nightstand shelf to food containers, Finley invites everyone to the revolution he has launched.
