The 2022 ranking of the 50 Top pizzerias in Asia Pacific region will be officially revealed on August 8th during the Award Ceremony in Bangkok, the first one ever to be held in Asia; the venue will be The Peninsula hotel, one of the most stunning staycations on the riverside of the Venice of the East.

The event will be organised by Virgilio – Creating value, the company which is managing 50 Top Pizza brand in the region, and it will be under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in Thailand.

The top 15 positions will receive the Gold Ticket, giving them access to the 50 Top Pizza Grand Finale, which will take place in September, 2022 in the beautiful Palazzo Reale (Naples).

“We are excited to host the first event on this side of the world, and we can already say we had a great response from both the pizzerias in the ranking and local media” Albert Sapere (one of the founders of 50 Top Pizza guide) says. “Our local team in Asia Pacific, led by Vittoria Dell’Anna, is working from several months in order to create something unforgettable.”

Albert Sapere will join collateral events too, which include a dedicated masterclass for influencers and media representatives on August 8th in order to showcase both Italian great products and different pizza styles and techniques, and, following the Award Ceremony, a smart casual party on the riverside.

‘The pizza groove party’ elevated by Peroni is a concept by Virgilio – Creating value and will feature 6 pizza stations where all the best pizza makers coming from Bangkok will present their signatures plus other food and beverage stations, offering cocktails by Gin Mare, a selections of Italian sparkling wines by Ethica Wines and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, which will create a special drink for the night.
