Marcelle Afram, the former Executive Chef of the Michelin-starred, prominently Middle Eastern restaurant Maydan in Washington, will open a new “ghost restaurant” under the name Shababi. The restaurant, which will focus on the Palestinian chicken dish called “musakhan”, will operate from the kitchen of Roro’s: Modern Lebanese as a take-out only “ghost” restaurant.
